Ketchup and Mustard Rose Details 2021

This delicate beauty of a rose deserves attention. Ketchup and Mustard Rose is unusual in that the inside of its petals are bright ketchup color while the outside of each petal is a mustard yellow. It’s quite spectacular to see. My attempt lately is to document the type of roses in the Lyndale Lake Harriet Gardens. Pretty amusing to have a rose named after condiments!

Thanks for stopping by my kitchen.

Have a good week.

Peace

This is inspiring me to plant roses next year!

  2. Funny the name they gave this beautiful rose – ketchup and mustard doesn’t quite do it for me 🙂
