Saturday in the Lyndale Gardens = Lake Harriet Rose Garden – August Paradise

While the drought caused havoc for the farmers in Minnesota, the flower garden at Lake Harriet has flourished. The rains came yesterday and here’s some of what I saw today.

This Saturday the Monarch butterflies were plentiful. The roses were gorgeous. The garden was flush with life. An artist was painting nearby and the volunteers were doing the last cutting and clean-up of the roses. This gift of beauty is a cure for what ails me. Thank you to all the people who make this possible.

Thanks for stopping by my kitchen.

Have a good weekend.

Peace
