Halloween inspiration! Go to Sarah Jane’s Bakery early and buy treats for friends and some donuts for me.

Just what I needed to get in the Halloween Spirit was a trip out of the mushroom cave early this morning to Sarah Jane’s Bakery. Their clever decorative windows and the aromas of the fresh baked goodies cheered me up immensely! (Ahhhhh, sugar!)

There was a short line that was quickly handled by the two woman behind the counter. Bel waited on me as I bought my donuts and Pumpkin Bars for the evening get together outside and to pick up food to go.

Thanks to the cook, Bill for the roasted root veg and pork. A delicious meal. The kids loved their candy bags!

I joined the Saturday night dinner crowd fir a brief socially distanced visit with masks. Some had full costumes! It was great to see everyone outside (brrrr.) enjoying time together.
