Sunny Day = Welcome to Spring in the Northland – A Walk in the Neighborhood

After a longer than normal winter finally Spring has truly begun. Here’s what I saw in the neighborhood. It was a white, pink, lavender, deep purple and blue flowered day. I have waited all these months for a day like this. Pictures are from Washburn Fair Oaks Park and nearby neighborhood. Enjoy!

What a beautiful collection of flowers and blossoms. We are not there yet but with warm weather coming this weekend we soon will be.

Thank you, Anne. This year I was anxiously hoping for the apple blossoms on the trees. I enjoy seeing them so much. They only last a few days. Enjoy! the warmer weather and the flowers of spring.

Yes , spring may be here BUT sure doesn’t seem so here in central PA ! The Florsisity was in bloom but blooms got froze along with my Apple blossoms ! Wild Violets are numerous in the lawn. I have mowed only 3 times. I planted Sunflowers yesterday. Need to purchase annual plants to fill my many containers . Wishing for warmer weather and sun ! The Hummingbirds are back . I have a big Gray Squirrel raiding the birdfeeder But look at thes pretty ones. I think they are a variety of Grossbeak ? For years I have wished for a small Koi pond! Enjoyed your pictures.
