These decorative Koi know what it is to live in close quarters.
Wishing you well this day. Minnesota’s Stay at Home order will be lifted on Monday May 18th and change to a Stay Safe plan. No more than 10 people in a family gathering, small retail along with large retail stores may open again. Restaurants may continue with delivery or take out. No bars or entertainment clubs may be open. Slow opening of the state. More places are planned to open on June 1.
Some pastel colors were needed for my portrait of Sataya, the Pudelpointer – hunting dog. It was a small revelation that a local store had what I needed and kindly took my order over the phone. I picked my order up with no touch curb service. Thank you!
I had not driven on the freeway since March. The traffic was bustling again..always the nutzo speeder weaving between the folks driving the speed limit. Since the Shutdown some drivers are speeding around even when there are only three other cars on the street. *Sigh* During this time there were very few traffic accidents.
I will miss the quieter streets come Monday’s reopening of Minnesota. Crossing my fingers that people will wear masks and practice social distancing.
How are you coping with your states, country’s Covid orders?
Thanks for stopping by my kitchen.
Have a prosperous day wherever you are in the world.
Be Well.
recently koi fish keeping and other fish keeping activities start blooming here in my place because of lockdowns and people like to stay at home tending koi fish and other fishes to relieve stress and negativity due to this pandemic
I like the campaign from Stay Home to Stay Safe, to remind people to stay alert and safe since we are still living with coronavirus around us. In Jakarta, we are still under the social distance at large scale – sort of semi lockdown. I am still working from home until further notice and most shops are closed except drugstores, supermarkets and restaurants – but only allowed for takeaways and deliveries.
Hope you stay safe and well in Minnesota. It will be weird not to enjoy the typically hot summer activities in the lakes..
Hi Indah, Starting tomorrow, Monday In my state we are asked to stay home and wear masks when we go out. No longer on lock down people are already out in numbers. We will see what happens. Our numbers are going up of elderly people who are dying . Personally I will continue to stay home and wear a mask when I go outside and practice social distancing. You stay safe too. Yes, I miss the outdoors very much. But i will try to continue sharing pictures here.
So lucky to have lockdown lifted our’s is yet to happen in India

We will have a minor loosening of restrictions but not too much–our provincial government is taking things very slowly. Those koi are gorgeous–I don’t have koi but I do have 6 new baby goldfish in our side pond, and they’re very cute!
All good here. Australia has been lucky. Our restrictions are beginning to loosen so we’re have two friends over for lunch tomorrow.
That’s hopeful. Very glad to hear from you! It’s unpredictable what will happen here. Just a wait and see attitude for me. Economically this is a disaster too. Stay well.
Very sad to watch what’s happening in the USA. Wishing you a smooth and healthy path ahead.
Our traffic has been very quiet during the lockdown. But there has been some serious race driving on the freeways. One kid , who did not even have a full license, was stopped doing 150 kilometres per hour. Another was doing 300 kph. I don’t know that that is in mph but the speed limit is 100 kph on the freeways. Crazy! They got big fines and the cars, their parents cars, were impounded for a week and their licenses were taken including the kid with the learners license. They won’t be getting those back.
Oh yeah, I know kilometers. That’s crazeee! 300! Yikes! Locked Down during the lockdown. 😂
