Made a trip to the Lyndale Farmers’ Market.
Each week the produce offerings change. I went for flowers, broccoli, parsley, zucchini and golden beets.
It was a grey day. Inspired by all the beautiful colors and being partial to dahlias…took two bunches home and glad I did.
People were selling edamame! I was looking for baby ginger, which I bought this time last year. Baby ginger is easy to prep and freeze. Preserved this way it’s flavor is intense.
When I arrived home, the broccoli, some corn were steamed for freezer prep. Zucchini is not for freezing, but I use them in spaghetti and soup. They hold up when precooked and added in at the end.
Thanks for stopping by my blog.
Have a truly good day and share the love.
Peace
